Traded for this T/C Venture 280 rem from a member on here awhile back. I ordered a Boyd’s stock for it over the holidays and have been waiting on it to arrive. It came in today after all the holiday delays and weather delays throughout the shipping process. My GF bought me a VX-1 3-9x40 for Christmas to put on top of it.
Boyd’s Prarie Hunter laminate stock in nutmeg color. My first Boyd’s and I’m happy with it upon initial inspection. Action and barrel dropped right in and the stock didn’t have too many rough spots inside. Paid $175 for it with an upgraded limbsaver 1” pad.
Now I just have to shoot it. Didn’t shoot it with the original stock because I found that the recoil pad fit my 20ga 1100 pretty well and it needed a new one. Saturday looks like a good day for me to get it dialed in.
