I am going to say wooly mammoth or mastadon, look at the distinctive tusks coming out of the bottom of the head. Never seen those on any buffalo I have seen.

Also look at how the feet are showing to be drawn out real big almost furry, a bison has feet more like a deer so why would they not draw the legs same as they did the obvious deer/elk to the left?

Makes sense. I took this photo about 10 miles from Sandia Man Cave and there are plenty of mastodon finds in that area.
