Colorado Bend State Park is closed until Nov 1st

Closed due to flooding. That's a long time to be closed. Been closed a few days already.

Hope all my ranch roads didn't get washed away.

Back in my younger days we decided to drive a 1963 Volvo B18A through that flooded low water crossing to get out of the Park. Needless to say we didn't make it. 2 ft of water in the car. Luckily the locals pulled us out. Dried out the carb and a little WD40 and we were on our way.

The main crossing now will just take your car downstream. It flows fast!

I doubt it. Water will be way down before Nov 1st. And I think most of their hunts don't even start until Dec. (maybe late Nov)
