    best guess birthday?

So I have pictures of pregnant does up to 5/6/17 then no does for a couple weeks. Today I see my first fawn. If you could make a best guess when was it born?

Stands to reason, if they stopped coming to the feeder.

If that's correct I can assume she was bred on or about Oct. 17th

the general algorithm used for determining impregnation of Whitetail deer:
            {Rut Season Area Month +1 Month} / (number of spikes)(Number of Hogs)/ {Rangers record Last year * 2} - (MLD level) / (Number of Trespassers)
            Add .5 to result.

I used your formula and determined I should be seeing more black panthers.

Then you did it wrong, you should be seeing the same amount of black panthers but a higher amount of big foots born on June 6th.

True, but they go into hiding when their young are born in June and then come out in July and thus that is why July is Bigfoot month.

                          Here is my "legit math"

                          Deer gestation is 201 days.
                          minus 127 (June 7th is the 127th day of 2017) = 74

                          Dec. 31 is the 365th
                          -74=291

Oct. 18th is the 291st day of 2016
