    Arrow Spine question

Here is the question.. My bow is set at 63 or 65 pounds. I cant remember what it was, buts its one of the two. Anyways, I am shootin easton flatlines 340. There shooting great but just want to make sure that isnt going to be a bad thing. The box said I should be at 400, but I didnt think it matters if the spine is stiffer on a 340 for the easton arrows.

You can get away with stiffer, but cutting down a 340 will make it stiffer as well

        How long are your arrows?

Worse case scenario you might have to turn up the poundage if you can

Your right on the border. My spine is suppose to go up when I jump from 63 to 65+

with a well tuned modern compound pretty hard to be hurt by overspined shafts, look at some of the super jumbo ( line cutters ) being used in spot shooting. those people live a nd die by accuracy. finger shooters , another story.

There flying true as can be. I was mainly concerned cause the arrow insert and 100 grain field tip are getting stuck in the block target I shoot. But when I shoot the carbon express 350 the arrow has no problem getting the insert stuck. I guess the easton is just that much faster. The carbon express feels like a rock flinging off the string compared to the easton arrows.

They are dual spine, and are 8.1 gpi. I think the flatlines are too.

I'll be switching to those most likely from axis

Blue Streaks are broad head carrying sob's! Dual spine like mentioned and built in FOC.
