Amazing deer but few questios.
When was he harvested? If still in velvet in November must be a stag?

Harvested first weekend of rifle season up here.

Hope I did not miss it...but can you at least say what county?? I had some monster whitetails brought into my Taxidermist at Hunters Paradise in Lubbock back in the 80's. One of the biggest bucks I have ever seen was taken by long bow in Matador and won our contest that year. My TBH son also took a great buck near Allen Henry Lake years ago as well. Some giants in West Texas but THIS one is unreal...trophy of a lifetime at least for me! Congrats to your friend!!!!!!!!!

Not sure exactly what county but even if I did I told the gentleman I would not say until he was able to post on here. I do know the general area but not the county.

The reason the county is not mentioned is because I do not know EXACTLY what county this deer was killed in and I told the gentleman who gave me permission to post his pic of his deer that I would just say it was killed in the Panhandle. He is a newbie to the site and when he is able to post, he will tell what he wants to tell about this deer.
