DIY duck call

Is that the insert that is just below the base of the bell or are you going to add one? Looks good! How does it sound?

built it for for a combination of sounds.

What you see is a solid piece and I made a (fully internal) compression insert that houses the tone board with the cork and reed. This provides a much softer tone with a bit more raspiness for ponds and river turns. (mostly where i hunt) sounds really good for a feed call

Also drilled out to the appropriate size to allow for a poly insert (not picture - from echo calls) Alot louder and much better for open water
