In Albuquerque for "Gathering of the Nations"

Are there any other TBH'ers here in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the GATHERING OF THE NATIONS Powwow this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday? Visited Santa Fe today. Very nice place with some beautiful things to see. I mean jewelry that my wife is enjoying for sure.

I love Albuquerque, the Native American cultural center is awesome. One day I'd like to visit during this event.

I am looking for the best place/price to buy real turquoise for my wife. They are making good deals in Santa Fe, but if there is somewhere else to go, I am in.

We enjoy how much you can do in and around Albuquerque in a short drive. Then on the way back home.

Go down on Mountain to cocina azul and get you a plate of Chile rellanos smothered with carne Arvada. Have a breakfast burrito at frontier. Red chile enchiladas at Durans Pharmacy. Pizza at Farinas. Have brunch at the range. Try a NM beer at Matanza. Chorizo and green Chile at Cecilias. Elk tenderloin at MAS.
Take some local salsas home with you. Have some biscochito coffee from Pinon coffee.

Go to old town and check out the rattlesnake museum. He has about every species of rattlesnake on display.
