I like chili with beans or without. I really couldn’t care less. I have only tried pintos in it, and don’t have any reason to use anything else.

If chili doesn’t have beers, it’s just spicy spaghetti sauce...
I use pinto and black beans as both have really good flavor!

I like to dump a can of Ranch Style beans with jalapeños in mine. I'm a 5th generation Texan and there's always beans in the chili.

This^^^^ actually sounds good. I may try it next time I want to ruin a pot of chili and turn it into bean soup.

This is what my wife does. She's even been known to throw some refried beans in it too. I don't argue.

Holy hell this topic us so annoying.

Real Texas chili has no beans. Neither the version from the SA Chili Queens nor the version from the trail drive days.

Now, you can put them in there if you want, but that is the Midwest yankee version.

Any chili with beans is DQd at the Terlingua Chili Cookoff.

It's chile con carne. Not chile con carne y frijoles.

I'm going to stir the pot.

I cube up potato's in mine along with kidney beans chili beans and stewed tomato's.

Also putting coconut flakes in with your chili is really good.

You sure get annoyed easy. This is a funny thread so relax.

I'm still trying to figure out how one can remove beans from chili and it be spaghetti sauce Last I checked there wasn't chili powder in spaghetti sauce.

Easily explained.. The chili without beans is for hotdog toppings.

The chili with beans is for solo consumption

This is confusing...

So lets translate this....

Chili con carne (or concarny as you wrote) literally translates to chili with meat

You suggest "regular chili" has no beans but "chili with meat" has beans. What does your regular chili have in it to make it different from chili with meat/con carne?

Simply put. What is the difference between chili with meat and regular chili?

And please don't say beans..
