    Turkey lease?

Thought I’d check with the Green Screen to see if anyone might have a lead on a turkey lease for this spring(would love to find a good long-term one too) within an hour or two of Bandera? Thanks.

I have a great weekend lease. Bought my own place so won’t be going back this year. Let me know if interested

I've been looking for something similar (we live in South Austin) without success - that is, unless you want to spend major $. My son and I have decided to look into a Sand Hill Crane hunt instead. The hunts are more economically feasible, plus neither of us have ever shot a Sand Hill Crane. Best of luck to you.

            Regards,

            Dave

I've been looking for the last 10 years and never really had any leads

It’s baffling! One would think something so simple would be easy to find. Lease to hunt Turkey a few weekends a year. I also have not had luck finding a Rio Turkey lease. I even promised to not even look at the deer on the place!!!

Pay to play state. A lot of guys come in from out of state to get in on the action and are willing to pay a pretty penny to hunt earlier than they would back home with high success rates.

I've always had to lease the deer hunting rights to get in the gate to kill turkeys.

At lease I was on in Brady was sold to us as a year-round lease and then they dropped a bomb that we weren't allowed to be on the property during turkey season.
