Angle compensation is way overrated too. Unless you are taking steep angle shots, it's not needed.

I went with a Leupold GX-2 as a one rangefinder setup for both golf and hunting. I picked it up at Academy on clearance for $100-$150, regularly $400 by being in the right place at the right time. Might call a few academies and see if they have any clearance ones if your looking for a good deal.

I got the Bushnel Arc 1000 as a gift this year just ranged a doe at 42 yards with it just not a clear shot. Used a Bushnel 400 for years never a problem.
