    Wild Pork Roast Cajun style

    Wild Pork Roast Cajun Style
    Ingredients:
    2lb. wild pork roast
    5 red potatoes
    Bag of baby carrots
    Half of large white onion.
    10 oz of Tony Chachere’s Creole Butter marinade
    Tony Chachere’s Cajun shake
    Olive oil

    First lightly coat the roast in olive oil. Then sprinkle the Cajun shake over the roast. Heat up an iron skillet. Coat the bottom of with olive oil, and sear the out side of the roast, and recover the roast with Cajun shake. Then take 2 cups of water put into a crock-pot along with 10 oz. of the Creole butter. Add the roast to the pot, and check ever 1hour for four hours pouring the juices over the meat. The last 2 hours add the cut up onion, potatoes, and carrots. Which is a total of 6 hours of cook time. Make your favorite brown gravy and serve. Mmmm….Mmmm

      this was my first time to process a pig and tie roast, and it was the best roast I have ever had.
