I've noticed that they will feed for longer periods than they used to. I've got pics of them eating protein and then drinking water and then back to eating again. Before the water set up they'd eat for a little bit and then leave.

    They do use more when you are feeding anything with protien in it. Before I went to 2 55gal delivery I was getting emptied in about 7-10 days. unless you get out to the lease alot the more barrels the better.

                  Here is a water source I just put in with a 300 gallon tank. The picture was taken the same night I put it out.

                              I really like those small troughs like that. Really cuts down on evaporation and not as many animals will try to get into your trough. Not to mention its easier to move/tansport and costs less!
