    Broke in New Bow

Last year around Christmas I got a real good deal on a brand new Bowtech Insanity and got to retire my old Firestorm. Opening day I'm sitting in a tree hunting for the first time with my new bow. I'm reading the Dear Dad post on my phone and get tears in my eyes thinking about losing my grandad who bought the place. Also the fact Im very fortunate to still have my dad with his heart troubles. I bow my head and thank God for what I have. I look up afterwards and see a doe coming out to the feeder. I get drawn but have to let down and bump my ladder stand. I figured I was done but she stayed. I drew again and got a shot off. She ran 50 yards and crashed. This is my first archery deer on our place and only my 2nd with a bow. Think I'm gonna like the new bow
