Default Hunting Dove in Mexico

I am currently on my first out of country hunt, courtesy of Mexico on here. This place is amazing! I have never seen this many dove in my life. If it wasn't for my crappy wing-shooting skills, I could have killed a 100 birds in the last 2 days. The ranch is gorgeous and the owners are wonderful people, who donated the hunt for a veteran. Still have 1 more day here and a few shells left. Never shot a 28-guage before and the Beretta over-under they let me use is a sweet shooting gun, can't blame it for my misses. If you have a chance, check out Rancho El Zancudo if you want a chance at seeing thousands of birds in a sitting. I think I've gained 10 pounds since I've been here. Big thanks to Mexico for doing the hunt giveaway and giving me this awesome opportunity.

Donít know if itís the case on that Beretta but most of the pretty wood you see on new Beretta shotguns isnít real. Itís a wrap called Xtra Wood. They do a good job but it isnít real grain.

True. But it depends on the model. Some of the DT lines will have the real stuff, obviously an eell would . Some of the 680 line, the teknys 390s etc have it. Those will have a logo on the bottom of the stock stating it. You can also see the seem where it comes together.

I'd be willing to bet Mexico's 28 is not wrapped

I have no doubt homie!

We're going south in a couple weeks. 4 of us on 8000 acres. My plan is to shoot 20 the whole time but I just realized I have a single shot 410. I've never done hunted with a 410. Should be sporting

Of course, Mexico hasn't had rain in months, then I show up. Last hunt was cut short, but I know the ranch is thankful for the rain. Had an absolute blast this weekend, and I will be back for a whitetail hunt, on my own dime. This ranch is beautiful and the owners are incredible people.
