Another thing that will help is a Neilmed Sinus Rinse (Neti-Pot). A lot of folks can't make themselves do a sinus rinse but I guarantee you that if you get into the habit of it, your sinuses will thank you for it. [/QUOTE]

I was getting 6-10 or so sinus infections a year about 16 years ago. They were bad. It would take 20 days on strong antibiotics to knock them out.
I started using Flonase twice per day about 15 years ago and now I get a sinus infection once every three years or so.

I take a Zyrtec and use the OTC Flonaise nasal spray every day. If mine get jacked up I'll pop a Sudafed and will be better the next day... That only happens about twice a year.

This is exactly what I do. I used to have allergy issues that turned into sinus infections 3-4 times per year. Now it is once every other year or so.

I've had sinus problems all my life. I take a Claritine pill every night, use Fluticasone spray and a Sinugator.

The NeilMed Sinugator will flush out your sinuses great.

I take a Claretin once a day. It takes a few days to work.

Cialis may work too. They both take time to work. LOL.

Lots of good advice here. You'll have to weed through all of it and find something that works for you. I'll tell you what I did. I was getting 3-4 sinus infections a year. My doctor suggested Arm & Hammer saline spray. Any drug store has it. I found a three pack at Costco. I squirt it up my nose a couple times a day as a preventative. It's now been over a year and I haven't had a sinus infection yet.

Are you buying the stuff off the shelf or getting it from behind the counter? The good stuff is behind the counter and you have to sign for it.

This Zyrtec D is different than Zyrtec . The Zyrtec D is behind the counter and the only thing that works for me

Thats right, Its regulated. You have to purchase it with an ID and it goes into a database limiting how much you can get. I have a co-worker and this is the only thing that will work for him. Not cheap either.. 40 dollars for 24 day supply
