Asking for help with the Coryell County fire. Pretty large fire and the volunteers are running out of supplies. They’re asking for small Gatorade, water and snacks that the firefighters and other volunteers can put in pockets, preferably salty pre-packaged individual items. I’ve reached out to Academy Sports and Outdoors, they’re sending water later today. If they get too much and fire is out, they’ll store it for their next fire. I’ve gone to a few businesses in Killeen/Harker Heights and have passed some info along to the Copperas Cove FD.
This heat and fire has got to be miserable. Pray for them and donate if you can. If needed I can get some items and transport as long as it’s within Bell County and today since I’m out of town after tonight. If you can take items, they are accepting at the Copperas Cove FD station #2 On Ave. B.
