      And you can mix soapy water in a sprayer attachment on your hose and hit it from a distance if you prefer

                      Last time i was brush hogging i found 2 ground hornet nests. They look like bumble bees and there were hundreds coming up out of the ground. Not a good thing. Waiting to get them one night.

                          I just went and used the soapy water trick on two big red wasp nests in my shed not one was able to fly and this was the outcome for all of them......Click image for larger version

                                this is a paper nest built up from the ground, near the base of a tree. I believe there was a hole in one of the anchor roots of the tree and that is where all this started. the county extension agent said to use seven dust at night and that would kill the nest. I do have pictures coming and i will hold my breath! (anything to not get stung!) Also, these wasp/hornets are yellow in color, have stripes across the back half, but look to be shorter than the usual "yellow jacket".... and there are ALOT of them!!
