Going through last years pics again and saw another one I didn't post. Stuck this hen and although it wasn't a longbeard it was still one of the funnest hunts I've had. The deer hunting was slow this day so I started cutting on my turkey call. Had 4 longbeards and 6 jakes come in, but just couldn't get the job done. the longbeards wouldn't enter my shooting lane, but of course the jakes stood there and posed. They walked off so I tried to call them back. Heard movement, glanced to my right and saw a steady stream of hens and small jakes coming in single file. Nothing quite like trying to draw your bow in a 10 ft tri-pod with 30-some odd sets of turkey eyes all around you! Finally got the bow back and closed the deal.
