I too hunt with Matt and can attest, this deer has consumed all of his thoughts regarding which buck to shoot for the last 2-3 years. He's a freak and honestly am glad to see him out of the gene pool. Sucker has definitely been a survivor though. He's been blind in his right eye as long as I can remember getting pics of him. Don't know what the story is on the bobbed tail. I didn't really notice that until this season.

Congrats on a well deserved trophy Matt.

I had him aged (my opinion from pics and history) at 7 years old.

Here's a snapshot of his jaw. I'm not an jaw aging expert, but from what I've seen on the internet… that's old!

That sure is one sexy thumb!!!

Congrats on finally pinning the Mutant to the ground. I always figured someone would catch him sneaking across somewhere with a rifle. Glad to see him gone!
