                  No fish in boggy. Talked to a guide buddy of mine at the harbor. His party caught 30 trout at greens on live shrimp.

                      hmm.. never seen a jon boat used for saltwater.. any special things that need to be done or changed before taking a jon boat into saltwater for the first time?

                      I assume welded, not riveted.. and just flush the engine each time would suffice??

                        Yep. Just wash the boat and your trailer off good, flush the engine.

                            You must be living on Mars, lots of John boats on the bay.... and the motor doesn't care if it's on a John boat or not. If its run in the Salt flush it every time.
