I think that is a good policy. 21 across the board.

We should raise the age to join the military then.

If thats how you feel push for it. I'm sure the military would have that rule.

And Tpwd would have to extend the youth licence to 21 since these young men can't legally purchase a hunting rifle till there 21 if it was across the board! You can go fight for your country at 18 but not buy a shot gun or hunting rifle? That's absurd!

Might as well raise the age to get a driver license to 21 as well. SMH

I wouldn't worry to much about walmart changing their gun policy. If most are like the store I work at it takes eternity to get management there to do a gun sales and i very seldom see someone younger than 21 buying a gun here anyways. It's just a feel good, look good to the public policy. Heck I work for walmart and don't even buy guns here.
*Just talked with the sporting good guys and we do sell a bunch to the 18 to 20 year olds. Also this new policy hasn't been announced at store level yet. He hadn't heard anything about it till I told him.

I’m not saying I disagree with what your saying but do you think the same thing in regards to alcohol?
If someone is old enough to serve in the military, should they be able to drink?

How in the HE double hockey sticks will this fix anything. What they need to do is learn to fix stupid. Now I might go for a mandatory 3 day wait until you are 21.

This is just a Walmart policy, not needed change of any laws
