    new guy

im new to the board. Just recently purchased my first bow so I figured I would register to the bow forum.

    2017 Hoyt pro defiant
still have nothing else at the moment. Doing some research as of now. but probably going with a spot hog fast eddie XL, Easton 5mm FMJ arrows. still don't know what release to get or what broad head to put on the arrows. I figured id go to the bow shop on my next day off and get fitted for the bow and pick their brain.

    any insight would be great

Definitely go to a bow shop and get it rigged up. They are knowledgeable and can get you fixed up right. Plus they can give you pointers that will help you learn proper shooting techniques.

Welcome! The “green screen” is a blast but you can get lost in hours of unproductive time.
