Driving back to MD Anderson this morning for a 6 year checkup. Last years checkup was not what I had hoped for. Already lost one kidney, fighting to keep the other.
I'll be testing all day tomorrow, gotta drink a vile concoction and then get poison injected into me (if the cure don't kill you), after the last test I have to flood myself to flush out said poison because it can kill your kidneys, medicine at its best.
To be clear, I'm so thankful that MDA is so good at what they do. Between myself and my daughters cancer scare my family has had a difficult and stressful year.
We remain strong and together in this time.
