Had some PTO to burn before the end of the year, so I'm doing the only logical thing... heading to the lease! I'll be just north of Sabinal in Uvalde County, toting my Creed and Browning 280 for rattling. The wife is following me out there to partake in the tree sittin, toting her Jewel. She'll be leaving Sunday though.

My ol trigger finger has an awful itch that I intend on scratching this week. Y'all tune in, it's about to get western!

We're set up and in our trees. Krystal took the primary feeder, I settled with the creek feeder. Got in late, as I forgot how long it takes with a woman hunting with you lol. Already pigs coming in. We'll see if they wind me, they always do.

Feeder went off but nada so far. I think the pigs smelled me or something on the corn bucket. Very rarely do I get a pig to come all the way in to the feeder.

So as I was typing the last update, I hear a grunt and look up to see nothing but horns. Hit send and threw up the binos. Its the first time seeing the main frame 12 I have on camera. I put him on my no shoot list as I'm pretty confident he's 4.5. But son of a gun it's tempting! I want a main 12 in the worst of ways. Sorry about bad pics. Morning sun plus moving.
