I have a question and not trying to start an aguement but why did you keep a blue marlin? the meat really isnt that great. they look cool on the wall but they have a replica mount where u can measure and release the fish.

When I first fished at Cabo 20 years ago the captain got really aggravated with me for releasing the Marlins I caught...they were used to selling them to the cat food plant after the photo op..Now, a lot of the charter operators won't take you out unless you agree to catch and release the billfish.

Nice fish, I am definetly jealous. I have always wanted to go fishing down there.

One of my friends caught this one two weeks ago in Cabo, supposedly the biggest one caught in Cabo this year.
