Kieth Johns Red Deer

Has anyone harvested a Red deer at Keith's? Is so could you post a photo? I was thinking about filling the freezer but wasnt sure how big they were.

didnt kill one but saw two cows there probably 225 lbs, i saw a red bull at the bar e he was probably 400 or so.

I harvested one a couple of months ago, at Keith's. Great meat. I just shot a cow though. For some reason, every time I hunt down there I have Red Deer come in.

February Hunt

I was down there in February and didn't see any.

I shot two bulls at Keiths. The first was a juvenile (last hunt last day, last chance situation). Then I went back a shot a little bit bigger one. Second was close to 400 lb's, he has them with bigger racks than this one though just didn't get the opportunity. Lot's of cows available too, and yes they are VERY tasty!! I think I'll try to always have one in the freezer!
