Two Hand Forged Skinners

I forged these two out of high carbon steel. The first one is 9 1/2 OAL cutting edge is 4 1/2 inches. Handle is stabilized Spalted Curly Maple with white and green liners and 1/4 mosaic pin.
The second on has Iroko shaped handle, fits amazing you your hand. It is 10 1/2 OAL cutting edge is 4 1/2 inches long. I used a Damascus Steel guard.
I was going to make the sheaths before posting however; I ran my thumb into a band saw yesterday and will probably be out two weeks before I can use it again.

I plan on forging a lot more since I have a new awesome forge.

10-4 Sam, You'd think that after cutting steel and wood for 47 years I'd know better... I haven't cut myself bad enough to need stitches since 1979. Just too lazy to look for the push stick.
