I have always planted browntop millet but was considering sunflowers. I have talked to several friends that have great luck with whitewings and sunflowers but we have mostly morning dove. Will the morning dove do better on sunflowers or millet?

If you're talking native sunflowers, they do attract lots of mourning dove, but need to be planted in the fall in order to hunt the following September. Commercial sunflower, like "windblock", is great for whitening and can be planted in spring for hunting in September, but require more intensive farming practices.
But, if millet is working well, and cost is similar, why change?
