    Fawns on the ground

Fawns on the ground in Leon county. What is a deers gestation period? 201 days?

I think six months. I know mine in Leon county were breading by the end of October and I’ve been thinking some looked like they were ready to drop lately.

Yes, it would mean that doe was bred early to mid October.

I saw one up and walking around in Fayette County today, south of La Grange. Looked to be a couple of weeks old.

Haven't seen one in between Panola and Cass counties but I saw a couple dozen of them at Fair Oaks Ranch CC just north of SA couple weeks back.
