Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308, B&C A5 medalist stock, Harris 6-9" bipod, Vortex Viper PST scope (this is an old photo).

Longest kill is 527 on a doe. I have regularly taken this rifle to 1000+ yards with no issue. It will hopefully be suppressed by the end of the month if the ATF gets their act together.

Same gun with a Nikon Buckmaster 6x18x40. Looking to upgrade stock down the road. Loaded with 168Amax and 45gr Varget will stretch it out in Carolina in a few days.

I don't have pictures of my rifles by themselves but here is what I shoot long range. As you can imagine, up here in Wyoming and the rockies, our shots in general are what a lot of people would consider long range.

Remington 700 7MM UltraMag
Leupold 4.5-14 40 mm

Remington 700 VSSF 220 Swift
Leupold 6.5-20 50mm

I handload everything I shoot and use multiple bullet/powder combinations depending on what I am shooting and the weather/wind conditions.

Long Range shooters post em up..

Took out the .308 again a couple weekends ago. I don't shoot near as much or far as y'all but it is fun! Brings the excitement back to rifle hunting. Took up position as far back as I could get and laid out on a jacket to wait for a something brown to come out. Longest shot I've ever taken at a deer at 197 yards. Mis ranged (mills) by about 20 yards but it was close enough. Hopefully get out to a longer range some time an try to work on some yotes and pigs at further distance in the off season.

How is a .270 long range? Id like to touch 500yrds. I just got a new savage 111 with a Nikon bdc. Shooting hornady 130gr SST's. Have not had the chance to shoot too much or past 100 yrds yet but I want to. Anyone know of a range longer than 100 anywhere around fort worth?? I'm wanting a bipod soon and better glass eventually.
