        I don't even think it looks like a cougar. Very light framed, can't see whiskers (which are extremely prevalent in cougs), no tail.

        Nothing about this picture suggests a mountain lion, which is probably why the OP added "juvenile". It's the only possible way, but even that is about a 10,000 to 1 longshot.

            Juvenile mountain lion. Looks just like the one I saw at 15 yards last year.

            How many bobcats have you seen and not seen the bobbed tail? Me... Zero.
