Colorado Big Game Draw This Week

For those of us waiting on Colorado deer, elk, bear, moose and pronghorn, draw results post this week. Last year moose hit first, on Monday or Tuesday, elk hit mid week (I think Wednesday) with folks seeing their cards charged prior to CPW updating its site.

If anyone knows of a backdoor method to see draw results early, please post it here. Previous methods didn't work last year. Good luck!

I seem to remember that you can log into your account and see if you were drawn before you get the email. Here is how you can check:

How to check your draw and preference point status

To check your draw results
Visit http://www.cpwshop.com/
Log in to your personal account.
If you have draw results to show, they will appear under the "My Orders" submenu, also on the left navigation.
To check preference points

Follow the steps above

Click on "My Preference Points," found as a link in the left-hand navigation.

Good luck! Colorado had a massive drop in deer population last year, and it looks like CPW is going to cut deer tags starting next year. Might be your best chance for a while.

Going off of go hunt I should draw but I'm not after a big time unit.. i usually put in for the unit I otc hunt Elk in. Elk will be the primary target.. i have seen some pretty good Deer while hunting..

Gohunt numbers came out before CPW released their population target objectives. The following link has the target objective numbers. Just gotta find your unit.
