    Burlap, wire and zip ties

We have needed a second blind to hunt one of our feeders when there is a north wind. There is a tripod there but not enough coverage to keep from getting busted. Yesterday before I left the lease I rummaged around and discovered a bunch of old camo burlap and a roll of galvanized wire. I found a pocket in in the brush under a big mesquite and started stringing wire. About 100 zip ties later, voila’ ! It’s no Krivoman but I think it will work

Looks perfect. Think it will shed water if it rains? I like how you made it blend in like that.

No, I will have to hunt elsewhere on rainy days

Looks awesome! I hope it's surviving the winds today. Been blowing 30-40mph all day. Starting to sleet a little now.

My favorite kind. One thing I have found is if you can get your hands on the black silt fence fabric you will get a couple seasons out of it. The burlap seems to dry rot pretty **** quick. It will also help a bit on the wind and a light drizzle.

I have found that if I make a burlap screen to leave up, then I can pop up a pop up blind when I get to the ranch and they don't spook. Gets them accustomed to something being there. Saves my pop ups from cows and brutal wind. Deadly combo for me!

That's a sweet looking set up. Love the brush in job.
