    What could it be....

    Noticed this on this deer back in July. Thought "weird, but maybe itll get better with time whatever it is"
    Its not better, may be a tad worse.
    The deer looks fat and healthy otherwise

      I think it’s an abscess, but could be one of those contagious tumors floating around. I’d be willing to come by and ground check him for you. Can’t be too careful. It might spread to the others. I won’t even charge you for it, since I’m such a nice guy. Hahaha

                          Yep, type of abscess. It'll go away throughout the season. Biggest buck on our property last year had same thing early on and it was gone by rut or so...
