    Few Animal Pics from Idaho

I thought you all might enjoy some of the wonderful animals we have enjoyed watching throughout this past fall and the ongoing winter. There is a wife variety of animals in this area and am looking forward to this next hunting season.
A Bald Eagle overlooking the Boise River

Some elk on their wintering grounds outside town

A young bull and some cows going to their watering hole

    A coyote running for cover

Some rarely seen turkeys going up the hill after some water

Some mule deer does grazing on a hillside

Some geese hanging out by the Boise River

    A nice little antelope buck

And some company he kept in a field outside of town

A large herd of elk hanging out on a ridge

Antelope hanging out in a farmers field before winter sets in

Great pics! I like the spent shotgun shell on the ground in front of the geese! They better watch it, looks like they are in someone's hunting spot.

I've had dreams about a place like that........the bad part was I had no bullets or arrows.

Most all the pictures were on BLM (public) land. The crop that they feed into is owned by the power company and they use it to keep the elk from crossing the interstate.

I've lived here for 1 year now. I really enjoy it, but miss being back closer to Texas.
