Great deer but he is 4.5 max IMO...in fact I'm leaning toward 3.5. Fantastic potential here...we wouldn't take him on our lease but depends on what your long term plans are as stated above. I see mid 150s btw.
Congrats on having a heck of a buck around. Makes things interesting for sure.
Btw, if this is Coryell County things have sure changed since I used to hunt in Evant when I was a kid.

Best options IMO is try to wait until after the rut so he breeds a few does before he gets ground checked.

It's a homebrew (homemade) camera with an external slave flash. It really lights up the night.

I think you are right. I tried getting this buck to 4.5, I just don't see it, I'm thinking a stud 3.5 yr old. And scoring around 145-148, great beam length and tine length.
