She thinks she has found a way to eliminate guns without banning them. She has introduced a bill, with 36 more Democrat co-sponsors, to mandate background checks with any ammo purchase. As she put it "the second amendment has nothing to do with the right to keep and bear bullets". Her thinking is that without ammo guns become a worthless hunk of metal. I guess she believes that nobody can pass a background check.
On a side note, last night on Tucker Carlson there was an interview with yet another of the "ban the AR crowd" and Tucker mentioned that handguns kill way more people than AR's- should they be banned and the liberal, talking points regurgitator had no answer. He also mentioned that guns don't kill by themselves- they are a tool. Liberals can't handle the obvious.
