Hunting pigs on corps land question

I was told I could hunt pat mayse corps land without a permit but i cant back that up anywhere,even contacted them and never got a reply.So I thought I'd ask the GS screen about it.

Don't know about that area, I do know you have to have a public land permit to hunt Granger Lake corps land, however it is a TPWD WMA to.

You gonna have to call them and ask, not e-mail. And probably wait till the office opens again. I spoke with one of the rangers out there about 15 years ago. He was very helpful. There are some portions that used to require one many years ago. But I think it was for 4-wheelers.

Yes you need a permit. I have one to hunt pigs. I hunt the whitney area and I go to the Whitney dam area office to get permit. Not sure on phone number.

You need an Annual Public Hunting Permit from TPWD for $48.

On the WMA I do need a APH permit and as i understand can only hunt till March.What I need to know is if I needed the APH permit and if the corps land had the same rules.
