What used bow would you buy?

Currently shooting an 07 Allegiance

Been thinking about buying a newer bow, don't want to spend $700-1000 on a new model

Was thinking about an Assassin and found some new 2013's for $450 but just wondered what else I should consider

Not locked in on Bowtech but current bow has been good

DL is 28", want something quiet and quick but it does not have to be a top of the chart speed bow

That's a good deal on an assassin. Check out the leftover 2013 answers. It will give you the best of both worlds. Fast quiet and very forgiving bow. Seen them on AT for 560

2012 0r 2013 hoyt carbon element, an over achiever and the market is flooded with them since the new carbon spiders are out. should get one around half of what they paid new.

An elite answer or hunter would be a great choice. With the transferable warranty it's a great deal. I really like the hoyt carbon bows and if you could find an acceptable deal on an element then they are fantastic!
