joining asa
Me and my wife are wanting to shoot in some asa shoots this year for the first time and was needing to know if we had to be members of asa to qualify for state champonship? Can we go to an asa state qualifer shoot and become a member there, sign up and shoot and for the year we are good to shoot in all asa shoots to try and qualify for state and/or shooter of the year. Can some one help me out?

If you want to be eligable for SOY awards you should join early. They will be using ASA number to keep the stats. Scores without an ASA number won't be used as I understand it. Membership is good for a year.
