Went out last weekend and for the first time got a shot at a boar with my AR 15. Took him around 6:15 pm. Fell right under the feeder. Waited for a while to see if more were with him. No go. Around 7:45 pm I crawled out of the tree to go and check him out. Nice boar so I thought, better go grab the wife from another stand. As I started walking off away from the feeder, I heard another noise. As I turned around I saw 10-12 wild pigs under the feeder. None moving, all staring right at me. Mind you, this is all about 20 yards from me. I slowly turned around and got one in the scope and then turned into RAMBO. I fired around 10 shots in seconds and I went to town. My wife texted me and was like, HOLY WWIII. I scoped out the scene and found another. Pretty sure there were more because I could here some that sounded wounded in the heavy timber. Didn't look because it was dark and on a Sunday evening and needed to get back to town for work the next day. All in all, super fun. FINALLY, the AR = worth the investment. Looking forward to some pork tenderloin this week. Just wanted to share with my brothers.
Blessings.
