Im going with alive. What looks like the flash of a camera in the eye, appears to be the sun, with an array of clouds around it. Oooor, you took a pic of a mount outside. Thats my take. Cant tell

Good eye on the caruncle and nictitating membrane. It's mounted. Still wet though.They always look better fresh but you know that...
