Never had mine warp yet. The higher pressure hose and regulator is money well spent.

Mine warped one time, but it popped back and hasn't warped since. And I have the original regulator on it. Thinking of upgrading the regulator very soon for the windy days, but was scared of warpage. Thinking it may need another piece or 2 of angle welded to the bottom.

Thank you sir, I may do that or weld some braces under the angle iron. I can pop it back, but it warps again when it cools off. The bad thing is I finally got it seasoned just right lol.

The sale at TSC a couple of weeks ago said "Black Friday prices now". Maybe they will run it again on Black Friday? They were $174 for the 36".

Have a buddy that owns a sheet metal shop. $20 and 15 minutes later he made me this. It is galvanized and works great. Going to paint it soon. Thought I'd share. He does mostly HVAC stuff. Check your local shops..

So far this griddle has been awesome. Last night I made burgers and french fries for my sons birthday party and it was a hit. Burgers came out great! I’ve also made cheese steaks street tacos and breakfast. It’s all good!

Cut potatoes like fries. Oil, throw them in it. Iíve done them quite a bit. Itís a lot more like soft fried potatoes when I do them, but you can make them crunchier if you want.

You guys got me wanting a griddle really really really bad! I can't afford it right now though. Has anyone ever played with the smaller plug in electric types? I know I will be deservingly shamed for even bringing that up!!! But I'm thinking of going that route for now.

I had one of those smaller electric ones for about 15 years until it died. Took it to work, used it at home. It was great. I loved it. Thinking about getting another just for days I donít wanna go out and cook. But if you get a small one, you might wind up wanting the larger version too

bought mine in and put it together last night. The griddle top seems to be warped some. when you set the prongs in the hole one of them is about a 1/4" from sitting all the way down. Should I heat it up and see if it will sit better once hot or contact blackstone first? flipped it over on a table and the one corner does sit up from the table.

I stopped an talked to a friend yesterday wh o owns a fab shopp to see if he could build two covers for me when he had a chance. I got a call from him about 2 today an he said he was done. He built them out of galvanized metal and ran them through the sand blaster. Fits like a charm an no more critters on my top.

The local Walmart. It was a display, and the grill had minor rust on it. First price was $185, I said it was rusty and they went down to $139. Little steel wool and then seasoned it, you canít tell the rust was ever there.

Your griddle did that? Or the sheet metal cover some of the guys are posting? I wouldn't be surprised if a cover warped a little, but if the actual griddle itself did, I would be kinda ticked.

I highly recommend the cover and use it while cooking certain things. It works great! I cover most everything at least for a few minutes.

So, Jeff, you put the cover down while cooking sometimes? What does that do for whatever you're cookin'?

I've done it with burgers to quickly melt the cheese. Also pork steaks, it cooks them quicker and keeps more of the juices inside. Steams veggies, asparagus is awesome on the griddle. JalapeŮo poppers, the peppers soften better under the cover.
