Do you think this is a white oak?

I've got a whole stand of these, this one I hinge cut. None of them seem to have acorns.

I've seen this same type of tree deflect some of my arrows in the past.

Wish I could find a tree like that to hunt out of.

ita not a white oak... a white oak bark is more like a pecan tree (kind of shaggy)

Yes imo. A small whiteoak isn't very shaggy.
Post oak leaves are usually a little darker.
Can we see the whole tree?

From that pick i'm gonna say post oak, ones around my house produce acorns early in the year. Usually dropping by opening of bow season.

Also these trees grow really crooked and leaning. The leaves look like a white oak leave though.

                          So what is it?

                            Wow! It suddenly appeared!

I'd say it was a tree with a bunch of woodpecker holes in it.

Blue oak or Canyon oak based on the leaf.

Looks like the leaves from a post oak, which I don't believe is in the white oak family.
