I leave it up. She use to complain about me leaving it up, so then I just left it down and ****** all over the seat. She’s fine with me leaving it up now.

I’m gonna help all you confused folks out...the question was about the SEAT, not the LID. Reading the posts in some of these threads is like watching midgets run hurdles.

Down always, I have a urinal in my bathroom.

I aim very carefully and if I happen to drip on seat I just wipe it down. I ain’t grabbing the toilet seat and than pulling it out.

I thought putting the seat and lid down after using the toilet was common courtesy, therefore I put both down when im done.
