What its that smell ?? Spring plants ?

weird question for the green screen, but some of you know your plants really well. Every year around this time "Spring" we drive around with the windows open and my wife always says " ooohhhhh there's that smell again" she loves it like cat nip. I cant for the life of me figure out what it is or what type of plant its coming from. Its a real sweet but not over powering fragrance. Any ideas ????????

I have pulled over and walked around in the areas trying to locate it and cant for the life of me find it. Are those two listed above growing wild in east Texas?
