    aoudad mount recommendations

I need recommendations for a form to use on an aoudad? all the pictures of aoudad mounts I see they always make the face an neck look like a ewe in my opinion an I do not want that. Considering a wall pedestal or a half-life size but just want him to look like the brute that he was an not a small head an neck, so what forms are y'all using from which company?

Mine had a big block head and huge neck so I hope it shows well.

Have the same set up with the environment being done myself.

Can’t remember what form my last one was but made him look the part he was for sure!

Not sure where my taxidermist gets his forms. I will have to check.

Many "out of the box" forms have a more petite face than an actual mature animal. Your taxidermist should build up the face, to make it have more mature features, and to fit the skin. You just need to stress that to him before he mounts it. You shouldn't restrict your mount choice because of facial features.

Nailed it! AND insist that the horns be removed properly (not by boiling) so that the horns will not turn a blackish.
