I see a lot of post about First Point, but no many kills. I have never seen a really good buck killed from there.

Love that place. Went on a youth hunt a couple times with my son. Saw tons of deer every sit, including 3 studs,(off limits for that hunt). The deer there are as skittish as a meth head who's been up for a week. If you get a deer there, it's an accomplishment.

There has been some nice bucks killed this year. I shot a good one last year but must of not made as good of a shot as I thought I did. The deee are there and you have to do your part. It will definitely test your skills because the deer are super smart and super educated. I like it for the challenge.

I'm sitting off the feed route this evening. I had enough time to get familiar with my pasture and set a few cameras. I'll let the cameras do their work and hopefully move closer to a buck tomorrow.

I switched to fixed blade ramcats and shoot through mesh to try and avoid the black hole in my shooting window.
