    New RV problems

I picked up my new camper on Tuesday and on the way home noticed a problem with the roof. So I take it back on Saturday and was told it needs a new roof and I'm not very happy about it. What can I do I did purchase the camper but I don't feel that a camper that I haven't used yet and had a problem on the first day of ownership should need a new roof.

Is this a brand new camper? Or used?

You can refuse it or ask for a discount if you want to keep.

Dang! Why does it need a new roof?

I believe you have 3 days under Texas law to return it for full refund. I would be asking for a different camper or my money back.

This is how I feel but is there any thing legally binding on this issue?

I beleive I would be contacting the finance company and tell them to cancel the financing and go find another place to buy after taking that one back.

                        Apparently the glue didn't hold.

They would be getting me a NEW trailer. There is no way I would take that trailer.

I feel like I missing something.

It is brand new from a dealer. Seems like a no brainer to take it back and at least have them warranty the roof or get a different camper.

If it is a glue issue I would look for a completely different brand.

Hang on a second, the roof made it from Indiana to Texas and the roof held not its not?

Seems fishy, take back to the dealer, swap units.
